Design for Manufacturing Support

Our engineering team will work with you early in the process to ensure your product is designed to take full advantage of all manufacturing functions. This ultimately helps deliver a product at the best cost, quality, reliability, and time-to-market. In fact, our team has, at times, helped customers achieve 15-20% cost savings while improving quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Custom Cable

Whether you need a custom length of an existing cable, a complex prototype, or full-scale production of a harness, bundle, or breakout, Momentum Manufacturing Group can support your custom cable needs. We offer ribbon cable manufacturing, DIN rail wiring, custom cable assemblies, terminal connections, and custom harness assemblies. Our IPC-certified production staff and ISO-certified facility produce high-quality cable products at any capacity, from one-offs to large volume runs.

Lead Fabrication

Over the past 20 years, we have designed industry-leading protocols for lead handling to ensure we keep our people safe while serving our customers’ needs. Our lead fabrication process creates highly accurate feature alignment with sheet-metal components and our proprietary methods in fabrication and material bonding have proven to be 100% successful in radiation testing for sealing from radiation leaks.

Surface Finishing

If your part or component needs additional surface protection or an enhanced finish, we supply powder coating, wet painting, silk screening, pad printing, and thermal imaging. In fact, we have the largest, most efficient powder coat system in the Northeast. The fully automated line with 5-stage wash can take parts up to 8’ and process up to 20,000 parts per day. External partners help us support an even greater range of finishes.

Welding

With 60 welding stations across 8 locations and a skilled workforce capable of both TIG and MIG welding, we provide an essential step in the fabrication process. As with all of our capabilities, we’ve invested in the latest equipment and automated technologies, which include robotic welding capabilities for aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel®, and mild steel.
